Arraignment Delayed For Sheridan Man Accused Of Murder

28-year-old Shawn Osborne is accused of 1st Degree Murder.

The arraignment of 28-year-old Sheridan resident Shawn Osborne on 1st Degree Murder charges has been delayed due to a motion filed by his Attorney Robert Jones. Jones requested that a competency evaluation be performed on his client.

SAWS Approves Cost Allocation For Crypto Project

SAWS Board approves cost allocation agreement for cyptosporidium project.

The Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers Board approved the cost allocation agreement for the cryptosporidium project and the Big Goose Water Treatment Plant Clearwell. The City will pay for 81.1% of the cost of the project, while SAWS would pay 18.9%. SAWS Administrator Dave Engels says that the project is government mandated.

Fort McKenzie Drama Students Present Annual Melodrama

Every year at Fort McKenzie High School, the students of Sharon Bedard's drama class present a melodrama. This year, about fourteen students will bring "Perils on the High Seas, or Let's Get Together and Do Launch" to audiences. Set on a cruise ship in the 1920's, junior Chance Wambolt explains the plot.

The Totals Are In For The Pennies For Presidents Day Fundraiser

The total is in on this year's Pennies for Presidents Day fundraiser.

The final numbers are in on the 7th annual Pennies for Presidents Day fundraiser that was held throughout the month of February. Sheridan Senior Center Activities Director Jane Perkins says that this year's numbers exceeded the total raised last year.

Neal Boortz is moving from Sunday to Saturday, and two new programs - Medical Edge Weekend and The Phil Hendrie Show - are being added to the Sunday lineup.
